Professor Alessandra Cassar directs the master’s program in International and Development Economics at the University of San Francisco. 

She uses both field and laboratory experiments to study individuals' behaviour. She explores women’s competitiveness in the socioeconomic realm and argues that female biology means that women compete differently and play an entirely different game than men and that we should change the system, not the woman.
